Samsung's a giant Korean smartphone has already started sending out press invites the media world for its annual show at IFA 2016 in Berlin. The invite has two clock hands in blue colour, apart from venue and timings, hinting at the fact that Samsung could launch Gear S3 smartwatch at its press conference.

According to a report on The Indian Express, that the Samsung unveiled its Tizen-based Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic wit rotating bezels at IFA last year. The new Gear S3 is expected to retain the same design language as its predecessor. Samsung gear S3 is rumoured to come in three variants – Classic, Frontier and Explorer. The Gear S3 Explorer looks like a more rugged version of the smartwatch aimed at athletes. There’s no word on the software bit yet. Samsung recently rolled out Samsung Pay service on Gear S2 smartwatch in the US. The Samsung Pay Beta version for users is available via an update to the Samsung Gear app. It is likely that Samsung Gear S3 will support the service too.

Samsung launched Gear S2 and Gear S2 Classic in India at Rs 24,300 and 25,800 respectively. The Gear S2 smartwatch runs Tizen OS and is powered by 1.0 GHz dual-core processor. It comes with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal memory. The smartwatch is backed by a 250mAh battery. It features an in-built heart rate sensor and lets users access emails, notifications and messages. In our review, we observed gear S2 is definitely an option for users who don’t want to spend all their money on an Apple Watch. It’s fast, has health-tracking that is comprehensive, looks good (mostly on men though), and is easy to interact with.
