The Merlin S720 is equiped with a new chipset that supports increased upload and download speeds available with the upgraded Sprint Mobile Broadband technology beginning in late 2006. This device is backward compatible with all versions of the Sprint Vision and Power Vision networks.

Mobile Broadband Capable:

With the evolution to EV-DO Revision A, users in markets where it is rolled out, will experience faster average download speeds of 450 – 800 kbps: and average upload speeds of 300 – 400 kbps.
