Electronic Humidity Alarms and Color Change Moisture Indicators

Twin Tower Engineering offers moisture indicators and humidity alarms to provide an inexpensive way to monitor a dry compressed air system. The moisture indicator or humidity alarm can be installed anywhere in the system, after the air dryer or at point-of-use.

The Moisture indicator shows a color change (blue to pink) when moisture levels rise.

The electronic humidity alarm provides a local red light and a dry-contact closure when wet air is detected. The dry-contact alarm signal can be monitored at a remote location, wired to energize a horn or buzzer, and/or operate a shut-off solenoid valve to stop the flow of wet compressed air. The alarm operates on 115 volt AC power and is enclosed in a NEMA 4 rated box.

The CAS-Series carbon dioxide adsorbers are designed to remove CO2 from compressed air. The carbon dioxide adsorber does this by using media beds featuring 13X molecular sieve in a pressure swing adsorption process. Adsorbed moisture and CO2 are vented to atmosphere while dry CO2-free air is provided at the outlet port. Standard voltage is 115 VAC. 230 VAC, 12 or 24 VDC is available. Standard operating pressures from 50 to 150 psig.

Carbon Dioxide Adsorber Features:
• Outlet CO2 content to less than 1 PPM
• Outlet flow capacities to 320 LPM
• Air dried to less than -100°F dew point
• Compact and lightweight design requires less space
• Standard solid state timer with built-in memory for energy savings

SUNSEP-W ™ brand membrane air dryer technology is the patented membrane fibers developed by Asahi Glass Company (AGC) which has nearly 40 years of experience in the separation of gases with membranes.

The Sunsep drying process works by passing compressed air inside the hollow fiber membranes where the water vapor molecules permeate through the wall of the membrane leaving the oxygen and nitrogen molecules to exit the outlet as dry air. The permeated water vapor is then swept away by a small amount of dry air fed back over the outside of the membrane fibers through a purging valve or orifice.

All air dryers require filtered air to protect them from dirt, scale, oil liquid and aerosols, and liquid water in a compressed air system. These contaminants can cause malfunction or loss of drying efficiency.

These sets of filters are matched to our HR-Series and VSA-Series compressed air dryer models in flow and performance.

Each set includes two prefilters to protect the air dryer from liquid water and oil, one afterfilter to protect downstream components, and wall mounting brackets.
